ROTA II is also available for daily cruise charters! Take the ones you cherish most and join us on-board for a trip to discover serene secluded coves, have a dip in the crystalline waters of azure blue seas, lunch and dine to bays enjoying the different scenery and sounds of nature; a truly unique and rewarding experience!

Daily cruises can give extra meaning to your vacation, weekdays or weekends and offer a way out to new naval destinations that you dream of. Escape the hectic rhythms and traffic of the city, the crowded beaches and enjoy the stunning coastline, relax in the heart of nature and savor some excellent fresh cuisine. Sunbathe and get lazy on deck, engage in various recreational activities that are there just for you, and those of you wanting to have an active time will have the opportunity to engage in water sports at will.

General / Preparation & Travel

ROTA II can accommodate 46 passengers and 2 of its cabins (both with en-suite head) will be available for your needs. There is also a fresh water shower on deck for use after swimming.

Packing before arrival: During the summer months, you’ll need lightweight clothing, T-shirts, shorts, lightweight cotton slacks, jeans and shirts. In April and May and from mid-September through October, evenings and even days may be cool, so please bring a sweater, sweatshirt or pullover. You’ll probably want to bring at least two swimsuits along with some beach towels as these are not provided.

Please do not forget to bring your medicines, allergy pills or medicine for seasickness for the first time cruisers.

If you have small children with you, please make sure to bring their special food and care products.

Of course you should bring with you your hat, sunscreen, beach towels and most importantly your camera!

Shoes: ROTA II will be your home during the cruise so please feel comfortable. Whilst on board, please don’t wear any outdoor footwear. Flip-flops, soft/rubber soled footwear or boat shoes for getting around the deck is possible. Walking barefoot is the true pleasure on the board.

WC, toilets: Toilets on board are electric marine toilets. A boat toilet is a very complex & sensitive machinery that gets very easily blocked. Therefore please do not put any toilet paper or sanitary products down the toilets on board and only use the provided sanitary bin in the bathroom.

Deck: Most of the deck area is teak wood. There is lots of space on the decks for sunbathing, chatting, eating, drinking, reading, playing card games. We have sun beds, tables, chairs and games available. If it gets too sunny we have sun tents and shaded areas, if it gets to windy please watch your belongings.

Please do not use sun oil on the decks; just lotion. Oil may cause slippery surface especially on front deck.

Mini bar: Various options of snacks, light meals, bottled water and drinks can be offered on board, at extra cost which depends on your requirements. You are welcome to bring along your own light snacks and make use of our refrigerators for storage purposes. In such case, please consult with us on what’s allowed and what’s not on board. The crew will be happy to do the service. Please refrain from carrying with you consumables that can pollute nature or cause untidiness on the boat.

Life Jackets: There are more than enough life jackets are you can find them stored under the beds in all cabins and in all common sitting areas.

Smoking: For safety reasons, smoking is prohibited in the cabins and internal lounge area. Smoking is only permitted on deck areas and in the outer lounge. Please dispose of butts in the available ashtrays and take note of the fire safety instructions around the boat.

Crew: Our experienced, helpful and discreet permanent crew (2 or 3 persons depending on the number of guests) will accompany you during your cruise and will make sure that you have a carefree and enjoyable day.

Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi access is available throughout the yacht during your stay. We are sure though, that during your stay you will forget that you even have a phone…

Tender boat: Our tender boat, is at your disposal in case you would like to reach a nearby shore.

Base / Itineraries / Mileage

Daily cruises are available from April 18th to October 31st.

ROTA II is the ideal luxury motorsailer yacht for affordable daily cruises to the beautiful bays of the Athens Riviera, the close amazing islands of Aegina, Agistri, Fleves, Poros, Hydra and other historical destinations like Sounion, Epidaurus, etc.

She can also be delivered to any other Greek island or destination for a daily cruise, upon request.

Embarking & disembarking: It is possible to board the motorsailer from around 07:00 and disembarkation can be scheduled at around 21:00 in its base port in Alimos Marina, Athens.

According to our time schedule and destinations we will drop anchor wherever suitable for swimming and recreation.

Estimated cruising time between Athens and Aegina Town is approximately 2 hours (4 hours for both ways).

Following you will find some additional estimated cruising time information between Athens, Aegina, Agistri, Poros and Hydra.

Athens – Agistri (Dorousa): Approximately 2,5 hours (5 hours for both ways)
Athens – Poros Town: Approximately 3 hours (6 hours for both ways)
Athens – Hydra Town: Approximately 3,5 to 4 hours (7 to 8 hours for both ways)
Aegina Town – Agistri (Dorousa): Approximately 40 minutes
Aegina Town – Poros Town: Approximately 1,5 hours
Poros Town – Hydra Town: Approximately 1 hour

Cruising time may vary depending on weather conditions.

Itinerary: Very occasionally, due to certain circumstances such as weather or passenger/boat safety, your itinerary may have to be changed. When this does occur, please remember and respect that the captain’s decision is final, and that he is only taking under consideration your safety, comfort and wellbeing.

Safety & Insurance: The motorsailer meets all safety standards required and all occupants are covered by liability insurance. The shipping company is not liable for any loss of personal belongings and money.
